Mexico: Day 9

Since we stay at a really nice bed and breakfast place, they had a good breakfast here. The doggie was also walking around, greeting people and asking for treats. ^.^
Then we went out around noon, and walked by this park filled with dogs running around, barking, and some were having training lessons too. We walked some more and ended up in some sort of sidewalk that had a bunch of people selling cheap things. Not only do they shout advertisements, but they also make loud noises and such if they're selling that kind of thing. Kinda annoying, but some things were really weird, like an apron with fake boobs attached to them. O.o
After lunch at some crappy outdoor food court, my mom dragged us to some sort of ex-government building. More than half of it was blocked off to the public and the rest was turned in to some sort of art museum.
My mom also forced us to go to a folk dance show thing. She bought the tickets an hour before it started. -.-
It was kinda boring, but the dresses and people were pretty. Well, most of the people. One of the guys looked like the monkey king. After the show, we went to a square and some native people were protesting. Also, there was a spaniel puppy, still awkward and really clumsy. She licked my finger.

We almost got lost on our way to dinner and the restaurant we were going to had closed, so we bought food from a convenience store. Yay.
We're switching hotels again tomorrow.

  1. The hotel thing hasn't been too bad, has it?

Did you know, that for an off-site thing for my dad's work, he dressed up as Julia Child or something, and put on a wig, and a girly apron and cooked with his boss? Of course you didn't. Heehee. I think the picture's on his Facebook... (I was reminded of that by the fake-boob-apron)

Monkey-king... like the gorilla you're marrying!!!!! ;) Just kidding.

Folk dance! You should see a German one! Yay!

  2. Is your mom the only one who decides where to go? Or do you and your sister have a say too? It sounds like she's dragging you around to a lot of places you don't really want to go to...
