Mexico: Day 2

Today was pretty boring. There was this buffet thingy downstairs which we went to for breakfast. Their pancakes were really good and fluffy...
Later, I was dragged to some sort of presentation for a timeshare at some resort here, which I didn't want because I don't want to have to come back here every year
Oh yeah, I forgot to put in yesterday's post that... After dinner, we received mints that said "VIAGRA" in bold print in the back. We didn't eat them...

NOT in Mexico, but in Kirkland.

Anyways, we took a tour led by an uncomfortably nice man across a resort I didn't really like. It seemed weird in some way, I don't know how. After the tour, my mom sat down with a woman who thought my name was Alyssa and they started talking about money stuff. I was sure my mom wouldn't buy the timeshare. The woman directed my sister and I to a lounge room, were we fell asleep watching the Olympics- IN ENGLISH. I woke up several times, each time a different sport on the TV. At one point I woke up to my mom taking a picture of my sister and I sleeping... O.o
When I woke up, my sister switched the channel to Spongebob- IN ENGLISH. After a while, my mom came in with a bottle of champage and said that she bought it. Then more boring things, such as organizing the free adventure thingies they promised us with the presentation.

It's super fast though.

Anyways, after that, we went to go find food. We stopped by a grocery where my mom bought lime flavored chips and lime flavored peanuts.
Then we continued walking, but the sky was gray and cloudy...

Then, RAIN. THUNDER. LIGHTNING. MORE RAIN. It was so much fun, and the raindrops were HUGE. My mom wanted to stay under cover for a while but then we continued walking when the rain lightened.

Yeah, then we walked by the marina, where restaurant workers were trying to lure us in, it's like Brick Lane all over again. I hate Brick Lane. Their food isn't bad but the people scare me.

We went to a restaurant and my mom ended up ordering two dishes that were almost identical, just one had more liquid. -.- And she insisted on having one of them... I also saw a guy who looked like someone else I knew... only with longer short hair. It was weird. Really weird

 On the way back, we walked along the marina some more and saw a bunch of crabs and fish.
Can lizards sleep upside down???


Then we bought ice cream and watched more Phineas and Ferb in spanish. But I'm still not sure how to change the default language on chrome because it's automatically in spanish because I'm in Mexico. So stupid. This happened too in France.
