Emma day!

Today, I spent the day with Emma...

We were planning to do a whole lot of other things, but forgot about them later on.
So we just made cinnamon rolls and sorbet. I also taught her how to play the first half of "Twinkle, twinkle little star" on my viola.

We started off by making dough. There was a bit of a dispute regarding the yeast... But it worked out perfectly. ^.^

Emma was an attentive and knowledgeable helper in the kitchen...
Not really.

Emma's so cute watching Spongebob.

We both failed at kneading the dough too...

But she managed to play the viola well.
Yay!

Viola-ing is fun.

After about two hours or so (and several weird conversations with people on Gmail), we rolled out the dough for the cinnamon rolls.

Emma likes playing pattycake with the dough... -.-

Weeee.

I rolled and cut them while Emma was busy chatting some more with people on Gmail.

Cutting them is fun.

So is trying to keep them from unraveling.

They turned out pretty nicely.

We were also making sorbet on the side. Technically, it's more like ice cream since it's got some cream in it (to keep it from getting frozen completely solid.)

Mango and passion fruit jam... Not bad.

Letting the rolls rise... I get so excited when things turn out good when baking.

But the cinnamon rolls baked weirdly... like stairsteps. You can't really tell in the picture though.

Such a mess was made... This is not a nice kitchen.

After that, we went on a walk with my dog in the rain. And I discovered how creepy my little friend was.
She's weird...

I'm sure my dog thinks so too.

My mom looked through my yearbook and has made some strange assumptions. Such as guys with girlfriend liking me. Wut.
